Hello! To all of you out there contemplating lapband weight loss surgery, I have been in your shoes!
I am a patient of Dr. Daniel Huacuz. I went to Mexico all alone and everything went just fine. Looking back, it would have been nice to have gone with a small group of likeminded people, feeling more at ease with the comfort of knowing that I wasn't alone.
That's me, Laurie, on the left before Lap Band surgery with Dr. Huacuz.
A the time I really didn't want to discuss my plans with anyone, except for my husband. I did extensive research before I made an educated decision, and I didn't want to hear a lot of negative comments. I didn't want anyone trying to talk me out of it!
What I wanted was to have my life, my health, my energy, my looks, and my happiness back ! And I knew this was the only chance I had at accomplishing that! I could not do it on my own! That's me with my family below over 50 lbs. lighter!!

This is me again on the left with my family after Lap-Band surgery in Mexico with Dr. Huacuz. By the time these pictures had been taken with my family I was over 50lbs lighter!!
To finally have my health, my energy, my looks, my happiness, my life back! Dr. Huacuz made it all possible for me to look forward to decades of time with my family that I might have missed out on otherwise.
